SETTING UP A CONNECTED ACCOUNT IN WINDOWS 8

OBJECTIVE:

Windows 8 brings your connectivity to a new level. With the capability to sync data, apps and even system settings across multiple devices, this version of Windows allows you to get things done no matter what you are using to access your network. Setting up a Connected Account is the key. It helps enable a seamless experience from PC to tablet to Windows 8 smartphone.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  1. A PC running Windows 8
  2. A Microsoft account

PROCEDURE

To set up a Connected Account:

  1. Go to PC Settings, then click on Users and select "Connect to a Microsoft Account" (if you have an existing account) or click "Add User". 
  2. Fill in the blanks to complete the setup of your Connected account.
  3. To sync your settings between several Windows 8 devices, go to PC settings and select "Sync Your Settings."
